Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School is more than just a school—it’s a place where creativity, curiosity, and new ideas thrive. Being part of such a unique environment has inspired us to organize our own TEDx event.
TEDx is a space where we can share ideas, connect with people, and think about how to make the world a better place. It’s not just about giving talks; it’s about listening, learning, and growing together.
Through this event, we want to inspire others and be inspired ourselves. It’s our way of showing how we see the world and how we hope to shape it. At Beşiktaş Atatürk Anatolian High School, we believe in dreaming big—and TEDx is one of the ways we’re making those dreams happen.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.

ABOUT
TED is a nonprofit organization dedicated to "Ideas Worth Spreading." Starting as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, it has grown into a global platform supporting its mission through various initiatives.
The annual TED Conferences, held in Vancouver, bring together leading thinkers and doers to deliver talks of 18 minutes or less, many of which are freely available on TED.com. Past speakers include Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, and Daniel Kahneman.
TED’s media initiatives include TED.com, which posts new talks daily; the Open Translation Project, offering subtitles and translations; and TED-Ed, an educational initiative. Other efforts include the TED Prize, which helps individuals turn world-changing ideas into action, TEDx, which supports locally organized TED-style events, and the TED Fellows program, which amplifies the impact of global innovators.
